The Evolution of an Esthetician

Writer's picture: jenniferjennifer

From an early age, I knew that I wanted to make people feel good about themselves, in one way or another, although I wasn’t necessarily sure which path I would take. After wrapping up high school and spending sometime in the workforce I realized that a career in esthetics was what I wanted to do. I love the idea of transformation and how I am able to utilize

science to create beauty and solve client problems. Just because two clients struggle with the same issue, doesn’t necessarily mean that they will respond to the same treatments or products. Everyone has a different internal chemistry. Skin issues can be hormone related or a result of what someone is ingesting, be it supplements, medications or overall diet.

I find my career to be fulfilling and exciting and my favorite part is the people! Working with my clients to achieve specific skincare goals and influence the way they feel about themselves provides me with such a sense of validation and joy.

In order to make sure that I am able to provide the best solutions I make continuing education a high priority. Not only to I attend quarterly, on-site classes, I also complete monthly continuing education classes, remotely. Spending so much time in the esthetics classroom inspired me to obtain my Esthetics Teacher License so I can help educate and inspire the next generation of estheticians!

I would love to show you what my years of experience and education can do for your skin. Give me a call at 773-562-7103 to schedule a consultation or stop by SASS Salon Studio & Suites to see me next time you are in the area.
